Note for experiences: The information in this article only applies to experiences attended before May 13, 2025. For experiences attended on or after May 13, 2025, please refer to Reviews for services and experiences.
Our community relies on honest, transparent reviews to help hosts improve and let future guests know what to expect. Guests can use reviews to share public and private feedback about the experience they booked. Hosts can use reviews to learn about what’s going well, and what they can improve.
Only guests who have booked and paid for an experience on Airbnb can leave a review. Once an experience has ended, guests have 30 days to leave a review.
Reviews are published as soon as they’re submitted. Guests can still write reviews even if they show up late, they leave early, or they didn’t attend because they couldn’t find the meeting point for the experience. Guests will not be able to review a canceled experience.
Experience hosts don’t leave reviews for guests. However, hosts can post a public response to a review that a guest has left, at any time. Feel free to respond with more context or provide your own perspective, so long as you also follow our Reviews Policy.
While you can’t remove a review because you disagree with it, you can respond to a recent review or make a review removal request if you think it violates our Reviews Policy.
